We will begin sending books home on Monday, September 21st. Please have your holds finalized by 8 pm on Wednesday, September 16 for this first “round”. That gives us enough time to get the books checked out and into bags for you to pick up along with your child’s schoolwork packets. Books will be due back on Thursday, October 8th. We will have a large bin outside of the school for books to be returned.
Our plan is to have the return day on Thursdays. We will adjust if this doesn’t work. If you have any issues picking up or returning, please call me and I will help you. We want this to be a smooth process, and easy for students and parents to get books!
I have ordered some book bags that we will use to send books out, and for you to return back to us. Your student’s library barcode will be on the bag, so it is important that it be returned to us. We will isolate bags/books for 72 hours, then get the bags filled back up to return with new books! The deadline for placing new books on hold will always be Wednesdays, so that we have time to pull them for distribution.
